second chance in life

remember i wrote about my friend ermy (refer to post april 4, 2007)
rina and i went to visit him in GHKL. before that, some friends said that he's recovering well and going to be discharge by end of august. since we dunno which ward was he transferred to we started from ICU (where he was). like jungle tracking or treasure hunt from ICU we were sent to ward 5 orthopedic then to wisma kayu ward K9..

he was sleeping when we finally found him. rina insisted to wake him up so we did. sorry ermy.. but he looked happy to see us. so we borak and old days...

ermy's condition was so much better when the last we saw him. however sad to say that he's paralyze from waist down, and his hands are like jelly.. but he has strong spirit so he's taking it well.. only god knows what really linger in his head.. his boss is supporting all his medical expenses for time being. hats off to this man.

so we got the real story of wht happened tht day.. his boss asked him to go to jpj shah alam to take a client's roadtax, he was reluctant at first coz it was going to rain but since he'd do anything for the boss so he went. on the way, he (on his bike) terlanggar a big manhole and fell. he called his friend said he accident but was ok. after he hanged up, two indian guys approached him, trying to rob him. he fought, struggled, even stabbed one of the guy with a screwdriver. angry, another two friends came to join the party. one of them was a malay guy. 4 against 1. the last that ermy got remember was that he was kicked, boxed and punched by helmets. the only face that he could remember was the malay guy.

knowing ermy, also knowing ermy's friends, i am hoping that they will spare this malay boy's life if they find him.

so now ermy is trying traditional medicine.

i can't help but wonder how the family is taking it. i pray for their patients. i pray that they won't be shy off the wealth so everybody will be with him always. a friend can help only as much..
