Yippie Yippie Nu Year !!

i always have good luck ! hope i will never run out of luck.. a good year has started, good opportunities arosed, good chances are shining, pendek kata, everything good... so far so good lah..

* jan 14, 2007 - closing party - i just finished stage-managing 'betrayal' a play by harold pinter, directed by james lee, casts are ari ratos, bernice chauly, vernon adrian emuang & caesar chong. i labelled this play as the most difficult play i've done. 8 set transitions - 1 min each, 2 stagehands (rina & d'boy + mag, took over the days that rina couldn't make it), wah on sound, hanif on light, sazali on projector, 1 night over-full-house (the team gotta organize additional chairs, angkat kerusi lalu atas kepala orang je) and am proud coz we handled the chaotic moments within only 8 minutes.. again melodramatic backstage drama, coz my stagehands acting like busybody neighbours, soldiers in war, macam-macam lagi lah.. after 15 plays last year, first time i heard the audience complimented the stage management - bravo guys !

* jan 9, 2007 - confirmed stage-managing 'magic flute' (music director - chong kok ting, conductor - brian tan, director - dato' faridah merican, narrator - joe hasham). show dates are march 22, 23, 24 & 25, 2007.

* jan 22, 2007 - being offered to be the personal assistant to the artistic director of klpac ! PA to Joe Hasham (temporarily) ! when 'immediate' were mentioned didnt thot that my supposedly-2-months-nothing-do-plans were going to be stripped off just immediately. start work - jan 23, 2007...

* jan 23, 2007 - confirmed stage-managing 5 more plays this year (philadelphia here i come, kg wa' hassan the tour, tunku the musical & the importance of being earnest).. am stuck here in klpac til november 2007.. yeay !!!!
