wayang marathon

not really marathon la but one per day for 4 days..

first i watched "cinta".. actually was contemplating whether to watch red kebaya first or cinta first.. my darling was keen on cinta but i was keen on red kebaya.. but being so much in love with me, my darling listens to me.. queue punya queue, we missed red kebaya showtime by 30mins so, my darling won ! cheh.. not fair.. and we watched cinta.. not realizing why ramai sangat orang.. rupanya cinta's first day in cinema.. best gila lah that story..
5 love stories, very simple but define love accurately and realistically.. i love the story, love all the casts, love the way love started and ended..

secondly we watched red kebaya.. went in the cinema with initial thot to just support my friend, samantha schubert (she and her husband produced the movie). went out the cinema feeling very hopeful for malaysian movies.. good storytelling and makes you think the importance of the unimportant (betul ke ayat nih ?) anyway, guess you know what i meant..

thirdly we watched cicakman.. don't get me wrong, i very well know this movie is a low rated slapstick movie but i wanted to see the animation as well as to support the local movies.. biarlah orang melayu kaya sikit lagi.. well, like i predicted, story wise - sigh... animation aspect - at the rate we are going, given times, this movie proved that we can go parallel with the international standard..

fourthly we watched nana tanjung.. memang kelakar habis.. storyline also not bad la.. it has an intro, body of story and quite a nice ending.. i laughed more than any other malay movie i've watched all this years.. it nice to see the choices of casts who can act without acting..

am suppose to go watch casino royale with some friends coz my darling don't like james bond.. but since those friends are busy getting confuse and still figuring out what are they doing in this world, i've asked my darling to go watched with me.. despite the hate towards james bond, i got - "anything for you, dear"... ha ha ha ! i win, again ! gonna have to find time, like ponteng work again to go watch more movies..
