this year i dont really have the mood to celebrate raya, i dunno why, just not in the mood. but as the only daughter, i still do what a good daughter should do - balik kampong.. hmm... i dont have a kampong - my parents stays in tmn sri andalas klang. luckily for us, this place still feels like a kampong, i mean the kampong spirit.. malam raya the surau groups go to all the muslim houses to do the takbir raya. but kesian my mom, this year i cannot help her with the preparation coz i was working on malam raya.. a few years back i gave mommy the best idea for malam raya so that she doesnt have to do a lot of preparation. instead of serving makanan berat-berat we decided to just serve fruit (grapes), jelly and vitagen. so tak payah basuh pinggan mangkuk just throw the bekas jelly and vitagen. mom kena basuh 4 pinggan je, the ones we put the grapes.. then since our living hall is spacious enuf to accomodate about 30 people, sitting but squeezing a bit lah, i told mom to arrange the sofa against the wall to even after raya pun tak payah nak re-arrange balik.. senang kan.. am a good daughter.. he he he..

mom just renovated the house. now our kitchens - the wet kitchen and the dry kitchen are bigger than the whole house ! the first time i saw, terbeliak bijik mata i and i said - mak aai ! besarnya... you know what was mom's reaction ? - senang kalau nak buat kenduri... (with a synical look) i got what she meant right away - what she actually meant was - senang la kalau nak buat kenduri bila u kawin...

hmmm.... i wonder when as well...
